Back To Back Mounting For Connecting The Common End Of The Pull Handle To The Push Bar
The common end of the pull handle and push bar refers to the top part of the pull handle that meets or connects to the push bar. This connection point is on the lock stile of the storefront door. Back to back mounting hardware is standard for where the pull handle and push bar meet together.
Thru-Bolt Hardware For Free End Of Pull Handle and Rivnut Required For Push Bar
The free end of the pull handle refers to the bottom part of the pull handle that does not connect with the push bar. Likewise the free end of the push bar refers to the end of the push bar on the hinge or pivot stile that does not connect to the pull handle.
Thru bolt mounting uses a heavy duty thru bolt designed to connect the offset pull handle through the door. A rivnut in the door allows a shorter screw to attach the free end of the push bar into the door's rivnut.
