The Amarlite deadlatch paddle is a type of exit hardware used on Amarlite storefront doors with deadlatch locking mechanisms. This paddle is installed on the interior side of the door application. When the paddle is pressed in it unlocks the deadlatch allowing users to exit the storefront door. Paddle latches allow users to exit without the need to grab onto a handle, as well as eliminates the need for any twisting motion of the wrist.
